Start with inspection context
A roofing enquiry often includes urgency, property details, a possible leak or damage, and questions about repair versus replacement. That information should follow the customer from first contact into the inspection and quote process.
Make the next decision obvious
After an inspection, a homeowner may need to compare options, speak with a partner, clarify a scope item, or understand the timing of work. Follow-up should make one of those decisions easier.
Keep timing realistic
Roofing schedules can be affected by weather, material availability, insurance processes, and crew capacity. Follow-up should be clear about what is known, what is provisional, and what will change next.
Close the loop
A lead should not remain open forever because nobody wants to mark it lost. Use visible outcomes: inspection booked, quote under review, revision requested, work agreed, follow up on a chosen date, or no longer proceeding.
